Welcome to the forum. There's a lot of really nice folk on here, with a lot of experience with citrus, and other plants. I aquired a daughter in law from Jennings La about a year and a half ago. Very nice, beautiful city. Daughter in law is pre-cajun.....She is actually from Quebec, and was teaching French. Bon chance!!

I live in Lafayette, just down the road. Where do you all live? We have had so much rain here. Now it needs to stop. I had a chance to spray my fruit trees inbetween all this rain.

My family lives here in Central Texas. About 20 miles east of Austin. 6 1/2 acres of good sandy loam soil. My son and his wife are just North of Houston about 25miles. Currently have Meyer Lemon, Variegated Lemon, Golden Variegated Lemon, three types of Satsuma Orange, Moro Blood Orange, Rio Red Grapefruit, Meiwa Kumquat, Key Lime, and Persian Lime. And a couple of avocado trees. And yes my spouse thinks I'm nuts. I guess there are much worse things than to be nuts about Citrus trees. Currently have fruit on two of the Satsumas, Key Lime, Rio Red grapefruit, and Meyer. Take care...Dan...
