I have a Eureka Lemon that is going on 2 years old in a couple of months. Unfortunately it is competing for light but fortunately I live where there is lots of it. I'd love to hear some input/advice on pruning and fertilizing. It's bearing plenty of fruit. Thanks.

Is this an inground or container tree?

In ground. It's about 7' high. Not very full though. it's young and kinda spindly much like my 15 year old son!

As for pruning, citrus generally do not need pruning. If the tree is only 2 it will definitly fill out more on it's own with time.

Fertilize with about a cup of citrus fertilizer that contains trace minerals once a month during the growing season. If you are in an area where the tree may be damages by cold, start witholding fertilizer about 3 months before the first frost.
