Greetings from Sunny Savannah, Ga. USA. I have a 3 year old lemon tree that has born fruit the first two years. Had a problem last year and had to transplant into ground. The tree is recovering but has some yellowing on some of the leaf tips. Is that a nutrient problem, watering problem, or what. Otherwise the tree seems healthy.
Thanks for any input.

Thanks, there are a couple of photos which are similar to the problem I'm seeing.
I'll watch closely and see if I can determine the cause. The info was very helpful and I appreciate the input.

If you haven't been using a fertilizer with trace minerals, there are number of deficiencies that can arise. There are several trace mineral mixes that are sold separately from the fertilizer--STEM (soluble trace element mix) is one. I bought one from a local hardware store that has a mixture that includes Mg (STEM does not).

There are also some liquid formulations. It does not take much of the mineral mixes to cure the deficiencies, but without them the tree can go into a decline. You might also check the pH of you soil since that can affect mineral uptake.
