Hi,
This is my first post, so, if I ask a stupid question, please have patients. I have two pink grapefruit trees in my yard. The first one is so tall, I need a triplely extended pole to reach the top fruit. The second is still a young tree, grown from the seed of the tall tree. Is there a way to prevent the second tree from getting as tall as the first.

My second question is for the last two years, the fruit does not seem to be as sweet, but still sweeter then the grocery store sells. Is this due to the age of the tree, it's size or are we just not getting enough water in east central Florida.
